Meet Melissa

Melissa has an adventurous spirit and a deep rooted passion for helping both people and animals. When she’s not rescuing lost animals, you will find her on the trails running and hiking with her two beloved rescue dogs, Nuke and Boo, who are her entire world. Professionally, Melissa works as a first responder, helping local communities during emergencies and disasters. She is well equipped for emergency response during our lost animal rescues with her medical and firefighting background, staying calm while helping those in need, and thrives on the feel good moments when lost pets are reunited with their people.
